FPGA Array Demonstrator Platforms for Satellite Digital Processor Development

چکیده

This paper describes the use of flexible multi-FPGA demonstrator platforms by the processor systems group in Astrium UK to support the design and development of large ASIC-based processors. Such platforms can provide major improvements in the areas of algorithm and design validation, system demonstration and ASIC design which act to mitigate the adverse aspects of multi-ASIC system implementation noted above.
